This song came to be because I realized that, in life, it is very difficult to make decisions. When you’re stuck in making a decision you have to realize there are multiple roads that you can take. You are not limited to just one singular path. I chose the lyrics “there is a lot of gray in between” because in life you need to realize there are many paths you can take. Also, you have to remain true to yourself and to your dreams and to remain focused on the goal.
Bad with the Good
Life consists of both bath and good and it is important to make the right decision for yourself. I wrote this song in order to emphasize that it is important to love yourself and others for the way you are. Despite the obstacles you may face in life, it is important to remain true to yourself. Loving people for the way they are is a necessity in life because it is impossible for everything and everyone to be perfect.
Be True to You
I believe it is important to do things for yourself and not for others and I wrote this song to display that. While people tend to crave validation from others, it is important to refrain from allowing your individual life choices to be determined by the opinions of others. You must remain true to yourself and follow your heart in the direction you believe is correct. You must not rely on feedback from others.
Breathe
I wrote this song because there are moments in life where it’s okay to take a second to yourself and “just breathe”. In stressful situations “when your hands are shaking and you can’t do any more” you should calm down and take a minute to allow yourself to relax. It’s okay to not be okay and you should slow down, focus on yourself and “take a moment to breathe”. When you are overwhelmed it is important to pause and collect your thoughts in order to regain clarity of a situation.
C’est la Vie
The translation of c’est la vie is “that’s life” meaning that things may not go according to plan but it’s important to brush it off and keep going. Despite the minor inconveniences it throws at you, life goes on and you must not give up. If you fail at something you need to get back up and try again until you succeed. You only have one life so it’s key to make the most out of it.
Clearwater Beach
I wrote this song to express my love for clearwater beaches as I lived there for five years and it feels like home to me. While I currently live and work in New York I miss the feeling at the beaches and desire to once again feel the peaceful environment of seagulls, sand and clear water I have experienced at the clearwater beach in Florida.
Dance Dance Dance
Dance Dance Dance is a romantic song portraying a happy couple gracefully dancing and enjoying each other’s company. This song is directed towards the man in the relationship urging him to show his girlfriend off and be proud of her. Their dancing is an expression of the powerful love they have towards one another.
Dance Up to Heaven
I wrote this song to express my need to let go of my worries and to just have fun and enjoy myself. I feel trapped and restricted with the pressure and stress placed upon me and I just desire to get out and have a good time with others. I desire to let go of all my negative emotions and just feel happy. I want to get out and dance until I can’t anymore.
Dangerous
Dangerous is about how addictive love can be and how difficult it is to break from that connection. It is about an extremely powerful love that I realize may be bad for me but I cannot pull away. I am intoxicated by this person’s presence and I desire to remain close to them. This person may not be the best for me, however they are all I want.
Emily Rose
I wrote this song about my daughter, Emily Rose. We are extremely close and tell each other everything. I will always be her shoulder to lean on when needed. She has grown up extremely fast. It feels like yesterday that I was cradling her in my arms. Now she is off facing life on her own and I hope she takes the lessons I taught her to use in her everyday life. I dedicated this song to her to let her know how proud I am to be her mother.
Far from Over
As relationships progress, complications may arise. however you can overcome these difficulties and push through. At times you may desire to go back to the beginning where things were easier but it is possible to push through and to make the love that you have already been building upon last. Sometimes you need to put work into a relationship, it is not always rainbows and sunshine.
Feel That Sunshine
I wrote this song to elaborate on how it is important to take a break on occasion and free your mind from the burdens of your responsibilities at home. I want to be freed from my anxieties and stress every once in a while and be able to worry about nothing at all except myself and the sunshine.
Finish Up That Song
I wrote this song to describe my mental process writing a song. Sometimes I may feel a little rusty and slow but I need to push through my block and continue writing. If you are blanking on what to write, you have to go back to the layout of a song and start from scratch. You can use this layout to build upon and allow your thoughts to flow and flourish into a song. Reviewing the basics of the song writing process sometimes eases my mind and allows me to regain my ability to write songs and conquer my writing block.
For the Record
I dedicated this song to a past love I had. Our relationship began to get a little rocky and we would often fight. Despite the turmoil we faced, I still cared for my partner and attempted to make the love last. It came to my attention that my significant other did not feel the same and they felt as if I gave up on them and didn’t love them back. I wrote this song to reassure them I would never give up on them and to reaffirm my love for them.
Frankie Boy
I devoted this song to my son, Frankie. While I may not express my love to him at all times and we may bicker, I am so proud and lucky to have a son like him. Even in bad moments we are always honest and genuine with one another. We get over the difficult moments easily and he never fails to make me laugh. I wrote this song to let him know how much I adore and appreciate him.
Freedom
I thoroughly enjoy the ability to express myself through my music. It is extremely liberating. You are able to just be yourself without any superficial factors. I wanted to express myself throughout this song. To tell my passion about writing songs and how much I enjoy it. Even though people won’t buy it, I don’t care what happens, I’ll still have the heart and energy in making these songs.

When life happens something bad might occur here and there. When faced with difficulties, some people may see it as the end of the world. However you need to move past it and move on. If someone is telling you to do something you don’t want to do, you don’t have to change just for that reason. Don’t let someone else manipulate you into doing something that you don’t want to do.

It’s about a breakup. If you never had someone to love, then you haven’t lived your life to the fullest. In order to find your one true love you may have to face a little heartbreak. Love doesn’t always come without getting heartbroken. Love is a necessity in life. While the pain may be immense, it’s better to struggle through the loss rather than never having loved at all. After a heartbreak there is still room for growth and love is a beautiful thing that makes life worth living.

The people that are always helping will always succeed in life. Heaven Knows depicts a saying from the Bible. Everyone knows what it is like to be first in life as well as last. In life, everyone will go through happiness and everyone will experience pain. What goes around comes around. People may go through it earlier in life or later in life. So basically, Heaven Knows, the man upstairs is the only one who knows what will happen in your life so you have to leave it up to him.

Hey Hey is a song that expresses the romance between a guy and a girl and the extreme effect they have on one another. Anyone who is in the early blissful stages of a relationship and love can relate to this song. It is lighthearted and fast beat song that depicts the extreme infatuation between two individuals of the opposite sex.
I Appreciate You
I wrote this song to display my appreciation to my God. I’m thankful for all that he has done for me and my family. My faith acts as a guide for me in my life. God paves the way for my life and steers me in the right direction. I hold my religion close to my heart. God acts as an example and in my daily life I strive to follow in his footsteps.
I Don’t Wanna
I wrote this song to show the difficulties someone may face being a parent. As a mother I strive to guide my kids in the right direction however at times they may be defiant and want to do their own thing. As a mother who adores my children I need to oversee that and continue to guide them down the right path. In order to do so, I need to look past the obstacles I face in motherhood and continue to act as a role model for my kids.
I Don’t Want To
Due to society, men may hold in how they feel and not be so expressive. I wrote this song when I yearned for my significant other to fully tell me how he feels without shame and not be prideful and bottle it inside. Love is a scary thing because in order to love someone you have to make yourself completely vulnerable. It’s frustrating at times waiting to hear the right thing from the person I admire and I may feel afraid and want to draw back. But in love you have to take risks and immerse yourself completely. Any hesitation will not suffice.

I Got A Love is a religious song. It represents my endless love for Jesus that will last until my dying age. It is more of a country style song that expresses the love I have for my Lord. No one can divide the feeling that I have towards the Lord. Despite everyone else’s opinions I will continue to adore Jesus and preach my admiration to him.
I Just Called
When in love, even a few seconds without the person you admire may feel like a lifetime. With the absence of your significant other you may feel withdrawals and miss them. It’s okay to reach out and give them a call or text without a specific reason except that you are in love and miss their voice and their presence. I wrote this song when I was missing someone I cared about and loved deeply.
I Need to Fly
In certain relationships, even friendships you may become dependent on the other person. So, when they are gone their presence still lingers. I wrote this song to emphasize the importance of the moving on process. It allows you to focus on yourself and realize who you are meant to be without the people of your past. After loss it is vital to discover yourself and be true to you because in the end you are all you have. You must live for yourself not for others. You need to refresh your mindset from the thoughts weighing you down in regards to the expectations of the people of the past and lift yourself up, freeing your mind from those burdens.

Since I was a little girl, I’ve had big dreams for my future but in the past, that’s all they were to me, dreams. I never believed I would have what it took to live up to these fantasies I created for myself. However in recent years, I made these dreams a reality. The more I worked towards my dream, the easier it became and my dreams became much more tangible. While others still place doubt in me and my abilities, I now have enough confidence in myself that none of their opinions matter. I know my own worth and their words don’t affect me. When I set my mind to succeeding, I was able to see progress.

I’m Home
I’m Home should not be taken literally as home is a metaphor for a person I admire. I wrote this song to proclaim my admiration for a particular person and how in their presence I feel safe and essentially at “home”. I didn’t realize how much they meant to me until we were apart. Once we reconnected I realized how important they are to me and was once again at home.
It’s Not Over
This song represents my difficulty in moving past a former love. In love it is hard to move past the person who completely owns your heart. Although the person may be physically removed from your life, their memory will forever linger. You must leave these people in the past but their memory can remain attached to you endlessly as it was a huge aspect of your life.
It’s Out of My Hands
Some things in life are beyond our control and life chooses its own path. Religion plays a strong part in my life as I have faith that the man upstairs, or God, has chosen my path and will ensure everything works out the way it is supposed to. He always has a plan for everyone so we just have to trust it and let go and have hope that things will turn out the way they should.

In the beginning of relationships people may put on a facade and pretend to be someone they are not and hide who they truly are. In my relationships I want to embrace my partner for who they truly are, I want the good and the bad as long as they are true to themselves. I want them to “let it all out” and reassure them that they do not have to hide around me as I see who they are inside and I want them to embrace that, not hide it and bottle it within.

I believe everyone needs to sit back and enjoy each other’s company. Everyone’s always in a rush and too preoccupied to actually sit down and indulge in someone else’s company. I yearn to have relaxing days and nights down south where I am able to enjoy my time and the company of the people who surround me.

I wrote this song to express my love for the Christmas season and the meaning behind it. It’s not just the gift itself rather the act of giving in general. Christmas is about appreciating and spending time with the people you love, indulging in various activities. The season is about showing love for your family as well as your partner as it is a magical holiday.

I wrote this song when I began to realize the relationship between me and my partner wasn’t meant to be. I didn’t feel loved and appreciated for who I truly was. I couldn’t devote myself and my heart to a person who doesn’t understand me. Due to this, I had to move on and rediscover myself. I need to devote my time and energy into someone who accepts me for me. I needed to do what was best for me and I needed to learn and grow as a person.

Ms. Jackson is a song about a woman who had a job to do but started slacking off and she knew that she had to push through. She was getting tired of her position and felt underpaid for her hard work. She would indulge in telling jokes to make the time pass and do what she had to do to make the days go quicker.

I believe it is vital to just sit back and go with the flow. There is no need to overthink things, things happen in life for a reason. Overcomplicating a situation is not going to resolve anything. I don’t want to miss anything and not appreciate what is in front of me by overstressing and overthinking it.

When the person you love and care for is away, time may begin to pass slowly. Time goes fast when you are enjoying the moment and time goes slowly when you are anxiously waiting for something, or someone in particular. This song represents the mindset that I face eagerly waiting for the person I love to return home to me.

I wrote Plane to the Train to describe how chaotic my life is. I am always extremely busy and I have to be on the move constantly hopping from one place to the next. This song displays my desperate need for a vacation and free time. I long for a break from my hectic schedule and to be able to enjoy myself.

This song expresses my gratitude for God and all that he does for me in my life. God is always watching and guiding me in the right direction and I am very thankful for that. I am very appreciative for giving me life and the opportunities I have available to me. I feel very blessed because of everything he has done for me and my family.

It is vital to have faith in yourself, however sometimes there are moments where you feel dull and need that extra nudge. I wrote this song to express my appreciation for anyone who has never given up on me and pushed me to continue when I was struggling and allowed me to essentially shine. I surround myself with people who will motivate me when I don’t believe in myself.

This song depicts the stress I have been facing in my everyday life and my need to get away from it. I need to leave all my negative emotions behind me even if it is just for one night and have some fun. In this song, I mention how I am constantly battling, trying to remove myself from all the negativity, and it is completely draining. I need to go out and have some fun and party the entire night until the sun comes up.

Swing Your Partner is a song about getting out and having fun with someone you admire. We just want to get out and have some fun and break away from the real world and all the stress we have to face whether that is school, homework, a job etc. This song is about just enjoying your partner’s company, and the presence of the people around you.

Swinging Away is a song representing the fun I used to have going out and partying, and describes all of the emotions I felt while indulging in the fun. I get really into the music and dancing until my head and heart pound like crazy. Sometimes I just need a break from my real life and need to just have fun with my friends and loved ones.

I am extremely devoted to my religion and God plays a factor in my everyday life. I wrote this song to express my appreciation for God and everything he does. I do not take anything in life for granted and I am extremely grateful I am provided with so many opportunities others may not have. Before bed I thank my lord for everything he has done for me and my family down to the food we eat and the water we drink.

Sometimes I don’t want to refer to God or Jesus directly so I refer to it as the man upstairs. I am open to all religions, not just my own so I intend to make my songs more relatable to everyone. I wrote this song to explain how I have complete faith in God and trust that he will point my life in the correct direction. When life gets to a point where it is beyond my control I have absolute confidence in God that he has a plan for me and everything will turn out the way it is supposed to.

I wrote this song when I came to discover the talent that manifested inside of me. Once I came to realize what I was capable of I wanted to share it with the whole world. I saw my own potential and wanted to act upon it. I realized I have had it in me all along despite being blind to it prior.

Time to Go Home is a song about working hard and putting your all into something before you come home. Everyone had a job to do and we worked all day long. Everyone was exhausted and wanted to go home, however we had to keep at it and put our all into it before returning home.

To the river in an allusion to the Bible where the people went down to the river because they were hungry and they were able to catch some food. They were grateful for the river because the Lord provided food and water for them. He also provided clothing and shelter from the storm.

I wrote this song to express my love for a particular person. You never know how much you may take someone for granted until you no longer have them in arms reach. When someone is no longer obtainable, you may come to the realization about how good you had it and whether they are a necessity for you in your life. I never realized how much I needed them until they were gone.

I wrote this song to show my appreciation and recognition for individuals I have observed in New York on 9/11 who attempted to help others. Whether it was a small favor such as providing a person in need with food or something as grand as giving up your life for someone. We need to remember all the people who have lived generously and graciously throughout 9/11 or after. Whether they only gave a little or all.

A Day Late and a Dollar Short is a song about me asking God if I could leave New York because it was freezing in the winter. I would prefer to live in Florida in a condo in the warmth. However he was telling me it was not the time for me yet so I am counting the days until I can get what I like or need.
A Song to Remember
With two young children of my own, I realize how the learning process can sometimes be difficult. I wrote this song to explain that learning may become easy through the use of music. With this song I intend to help children such as my own learn more effectively.
Animals in Play
A lot of my music is designed to help children such as my own learn, whether that is a valuable life lesson or about the animals around them in their everyday lives. Animals in Play was written to help children learn in a fun lighthearted manner. This song in particular teaches about the different animals and the sounds they make. I believe music is a very effective learning tool which is why many of my songs aim to do so.
Born Fighter
I wrote this song to lift someone up when they’re feeling down and to emphasize the importance of never giving up and surrendering to someone else. It’s vital to stick up for yourself and not let people walk all over you. I wrote this for my kids especially to express to them that I recognize how strong they are inside and I advise them to use that strength to fight their battles.

This song represents the true meaning dedicated to Christmas. It is about appreciating your loved ones such as your significant other and telling them how much they mean to you. The people who value you and that you hold close to your heart are the only people who truly understand you and understand you on a level that’s not superficial.

It is upbeat and promotes spending time with your loved ones without any distractions from the outside world such as work and the internet. It is an intimate time to sit down and connect with family and enjoy each other’s presence without any disturbances.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year however during good times it is okay to be upset. Christmas is a time where you are supposed to be with the ones you love expressing your appreciation and gratitude towards them. I wrote this song when my partner wasn’t present for the holiday and while everyone around me was celebrating and I should have been having a good time, I was in a state of depression because I missed them. The holiday season is not the same when the ones you love aren’t there. It is okay to not always be happy. While the Christmas season is a time of joy and depicted as such, sometimes moments of darkness slip through and it is not always picture perfect.

Clap Clap Clap is a cheerful song to get the children excited and involved in the fun. A lot of my songs are more mature and children may not attach themselves to it. However songs like these allow for the children to want to indulge in the fun as well. I intend to create songs for all audiences and music that is relatable to any age group.

I wrote this song when I was apart from my significant other and missing their presence. I was hoping that they would come back home sooner. Even just hearing their voice would soothe my withdrawals. Come Back Home represents my complete adoration for my partner and displays how sincere my feelings are for them.

I made the decision to incorporate learning into my music because one of my main aspirations is to help my kids learn. I wrote Counting Bubbles and Balloons so I can help kids like my own learn and grow in a fun, constructive way. When everything is just laid out in front of a child, learning might be challenging at times. However, it is far more successful if it is done in a way that they can enjoy learning from it. Children will desire to learn after hearing this song’s positive presentation of numbers. This song makes counting fun.

Counting down the days is a fun, positive song that encapsulates the anticipation that comes with waiting for Christmas day to appear. It captures the excitement I feel that my significant other is returning to me on Christmas day. The song symbolizes the joy of Christmas and how magical the day is on its own. It’s even more special for me because my love is coming back to me.

Dance to the Beat is a song I wrote about how I would much rather go out and have some rather than stay up cooped at home anxiously waiting by the phone. I would much prefer to go out and free myself of my worries even if it is only temporarily than get lost in my troubled thoughts all alone at home.

Dance Ladies Dance is directed towards women in general and to encourage them to leave all their worries, chores and responsibilities behind and take a break and have some fun. There are so many burdens women have to carry and sometimes a break is extremely necessary. This song motivates women to focus on themselves rather than everything going on around them.
Dancing on my own
Dancing on my own in a sense is a romantic song where my partner is urging me to stay but I want him to come out with me and have fun or I will wind up dancing on my own. I need to be released from my stress and desire to just go out.
Double Edged Sword
I wrote this song to express there are both negative and positive aspects of getting older. With age you become wiser and have more knowledge. While I’ve gained wisdom and I am more capable and effective at doing things, I no longer have patience, I am more exhausted and my mindset remains stubborn and refrains from swaying. When maturing you have to accept the negatives with the positives.
Driving Me to Drink
Breakups are really difficult emotionally for both parties and people cope in multiple different ways. Hearing that my ex hasn’t moved on either was extremely hard and held back my healing process. When I discovered they were struggling to move past our relationship as well it made it harder for me to leave their memory in the past. I debated drinking to cope against the pain and numb these difficult emotions.
Extra Time
In my everyday life I like to remain busy. I would rather devote all of my time to a particular person or thing rather than have extra time. I believe time is extremely valuable and precious and doing nothing with your time would be a waste. It is important to make the most of your time as you only live once.
Fake it to Make it
Sometimes in life we are faced with challenges and we have no answers to the problem. One job I had I was faced with this problem. I was told to just pretend to know what I am doing until I figure out what I am doing. So, I listened to this advice and it wound up working out in my favor in the end because I ended up getting my better position.

Fire is a warm element, and when gathered around, that warmth can be shared with others not only physically but emotionally. This song depicts the cold atmosphere of winter and how you can pass the time inside by spending time with your family. I wrote this song to stress the importance of spending quality time with your loved ones.

Fun in the Sun is a song about how there is an immense amount of pressure on my shoulders and how I need to be loosened from its grasp. I desire to be having fun in the sun but I am held back all caught up in work. When I wrote this I felt like everything and everyone was holding me back and I needed to have relaxation time to relieve the stress that has been placed upon me.

Graduation is a significant milestone in any individual’s life. It represents moving forward with your life onto bigger and better things. It marks the start of your life and the many achievements that are bound to come. While it may be sad getting older, there is much more to come in life. While you may be leaving your memories in the past it is important to recognize life doesn’t end with graduation, you will keep accomplishing great things.

Happy Happy Birthday is a lighthearted song about the excitement that comes with celebrating a birthday. Birthdays are magical times of the year and should be filled with joy for whoever is experiencing it. This song represents a milestone conquered and the many more that are to come in the future.

Since I was a little girl I had big aspirations and goals I aimed to achieve however it seemed impossible and out of reach as I even struggled to learn my ABC’s. However my father told me early to bed and early to rise makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise. With this piece of advice I was motivated and my dreams seemed possible.
Helping with our Chores
In my household I aim for everyone to participate and help one another with chores. I wrote this song to encourage children in particular to help around the house and to do their share. In writing this song I intended to make children want to participate in doing their chores and engage in teamwork in this lighthearted manner.

Christmas is usually a positive time for my family and I. I thoroughly enjoy Christmas and the joy that comes with it. However in recent years the COVID-19 virus has made it difficult to celebrate the holiday season how we are used to. The pandemic has caused distress to wash over everyone and now even the Christmas season feels a little depressing. This song represents the sadness I have felt not being able to enjoy the holiday season as I usually do.

This song is an upbeat children’s song to motivate all the kids to come together and have a good time. The lyrics are fun and the children will have fun performing the dance with their friends. I write songs like these because I have 2 young children of my own and aim to cater to their age group and younger.

Hot Shot is about a guy I knew who thought he was better than everyone around him because he has much more material things than the people around him. He’s a narcissistic person who only cares about himself. He doesn’t respect other people as he feels more superior than they are. He uses people for his own personal gain. While some people may be blinded by his material possessions, I see him for who he truly is, a hot shot.
Hustler
Hustler is a song I wrote about myself to portray my diligent work ethics. I am an extremely hard working person and I get things done. Since I was a little girl, I have been determined to succeed and thrive and I will work industriously to achieve my success.
I Didn’t Want to Hurt You
Sometimes you hurt the ones you love the most. Even though you may have the purest intentions you may make a mistake and hurt someone you care about deeply. In my song I didn’t want to hurt you I display the idea that sometimes love is not enough and relationships need work to succeed. I hurt my loved one although all I wanted was to make sure our love flourished.
I Wish
I wrote I wish when looking back at a person from my past and former relationship. Although time has passed I still come to think about them and question where they are in life. I dedicated this song to them to let them know I hope they are doing well and are thriving without me and I wish they got everything they wanted in life and all their dreams came true. I want them to know that they have to be strong and continue flourishing and growing and I do not want them to fall and look back.

In parenthood there are many difficult obstacles a mother must overcome, even something as little as trying to give your child a bath. I wrote this song to make bath time fun for both me and my kids and make them willing to take a bath.

It’s not what it’s not, is a song about how everything in life happens for a reason. At a certain point there is nothing you can do except let life run its course for you as you follow in its lead. At a certain point there is nothing left to do but to just go with the flow.

I wrote jump jump to be a lighthearted children’s song written to involve the children in the fun. Some of my songs are too mature for children to understand but Jump Jump however attempts to cater to children and inspire them to join in on the fun. The song is upbeat and the lyrics will motivate the kids to dance and jump around.

I wrote this song to explain that if you open up to God then you can leave all the negative emotions behind you. If you believe God has his own path for you, you can let go and be free and able to live your life and be happy.

Sometimes between working and handling being a mother, I become drained and burnt out. I wrote Let’s Have Some Fun to emphasize the necessity of getting out, relaxing and doing things for yourself. When you’re checked out with reality it may be helpful to have some fun and enjoy yourself and remove the stress from your life even if it is momentarily.
Love to Love You
Love to love you is a song dedicated to appreciating all the love in life and how important it is to be grateful for the little songs. Not only is this song romantic but it also teaches a lesson of how you should always be happy, keep smiling, and be grateful for the life you have been blessed with.
Love You Lots
I wrote this song to express my love to someone I am involved with romantically and exhibit my appreciation for them. I also Love You Lots to display the romance that Christmas holds in the air. Christmas is an extremely special time that allows my love to manifest even stronger.
My Happy Place
My Happy Place expresses my love for Florida beaches with the warm water and beautiful sand. I desire to live here and be able to be here at all times but that is not possible. It also represents my want to be able to relax and enjoy myself in general. I use a metaphor comparing this place of relaxation to heaven to emphasize how angelic it is and how blessed I am feeling.
Never Say Never
Never say Never is a song about how you have to take on life and be open and accepting of different aspects of it. You should never say never and at least give an attempt to whatever is in question because in the long run you may regret it and change your mind. You need to realize anything is possible.
One Day at a Time
I wrote One Day at a Time to motivate anyone who has been going through difficult times. It is important to take things one step at a time and not overdo it at once. If you look too far into the future you may become anxious and stressed out so just do things little by little.
One of Those Things
My mom came here with 100 dollars and a suitcase at 18 years old from Ireland and she has many stories to tell. The republic of Ireland is 95 percent Catholic. 150 years ago when the Irish came to America the Catholics were not accepted and were frowned upon. When people came here people would hold up signs that said “Irish need not apply” meaning they wanted to steer away from hiring Irish people because they were Catholic and new immigrants. Nobody likes the new kid on the block. It was very hard for the Irish to make a living in New York at the time.
Overworked and Underpaid
I wrote this song when I was feeling like my hard work was not paying off. I felt like a lack of credit was being given my way because the people around me do so little while I am overworked and underpaid. This song represents the immense amount of pressure placed on my shoulders and the struggles I am facing.
Patience
I am a very determined person and driven to achieve what I desire so often I lose patience when picturing my wants. Sometimes I am tired from being overworked and I do not have the patience to endure it and I just fantasize about going out and having a good time.
Pop Pop
Due to having two young children of my own, I write songs catering to children that they would enjoy. Songs designated to an older audience may not spark interest in young kids, so I wrote Pop Pop as a song they could connect with. It is an interactive song where the children can indulge in the fun as well. Pop pop is an upbeat lighthearted song designed to get the kids dancing and performing the lyrics of the song.
Ring a Ling
Ring a Ling is a song describing how family and your loved ones can help you get through tough times throughout the years as everyone is in it together and family always has your back. In particular COVID-19 took a toll on the world and laughing with and loving my family has helped me get through as the whole pandemic had me in distraught. I wrote this song to recount the turmoil the pandemic has put me through and narrate how everything is somewhat returning to normalcy since COVID as the world is now more opened up. I can now see the friends that I have been distanced from for so long. My family, loved ones, and children’s innocence and laughter helped me get through these tough times.
Running
I am a kid at heart and sometimes don’t want to act as a mother figure and want to participate in the fun. Weekends are one of the times I get to spend with my children and I long to cherish that with them. On weekends I like my family all spending time with one another before jumping back into the weekly routine of school and work.
Santa I Don’t Want To
Sometimes the Christmas season is stressful for me as I am carrying the responsibility of cooking and decorating the house for the holiday. During my holiday I just desire to relax with my significant other. He is all I want to spend my Christmas with, I don’t even want gifts, his presence is enough to satisfy me.

A lot of my music is targeted towards children. Sing This Song is an interactive song that pushes children to get on their feet and dance to the music. I wrote this song so children such as my own can participate in the fun as this song is catered to them. Some of my more mature music may not appeal to children, so this song was written to ensure that the children have a good time as well.
Snow is Falling
Snow is Falling was written to romanticize the winter season. While winter may be cold and bitter, love flourishes with the falling of snow, glowing of lights and just simply enjoying each other’s company during the holiday season.
Stack Those Blocks
I wrote Stack Those Blocks to depict the importance I hold that my family spends time with one another and has a good time. I wrote this song to appeal to children in particular and urge them to spend time with their family even if it is something as little as stacking blocks. I catered this song to little children so they can enjoy it and understand the message.
Take a Break
Take a Break was written to describe my chaotic busy life. Even my children are engaging in stress. I just want everyone to be able to take a break and relax. While to some people, being a workaholic and very driven is seen as an advantage, I see it as a burden as I am constantly yearning for time to enjoy myself and take a break.
Take It or Leave It
Take it or Leave it is a song I wrote to express how I would never change for anyone, they either accept me the way I am or leave. I know my own worth and I would never change myself to fit someone else’s expectations and I am using this song to encourage others to do the same and stay honest and true to themselves. Never change for anyone and always be true to yourself.

Taste the best was written to describe how once I discovered the feeling of achieving my goals and coming out on top, I didn’t want to settle for less and kept striving for perfection and to succeed. Once you see how good it feels to have your dreams come true, you may work more diligently in order to maintain your success and keep coming out the best.

The Rhythm’s Got Me is a song describing my rough week at work and once it was finally over it was time to go out and celebrate. I enjoy the songs where I can just dance to the rhythm and the beat of the song. I want to meet my friends and be able to dance the night away.

Too Much
Too much is a depiction of the stresses and anxieties I face in my everyday life. I have a lot on my plate and often work too hard and it is beginning to become too much to handle. I am a very driven person however sometimes I reach my limit and I cannot persevere any longer and need the pressure to be lifted off my shoulders.
Vacation
Every so often we all need to escape from the everyday routine. We get so jammed by the to do list,work, and hour routines that we don’t realize how important a vacation is. It’s actually needed, because if we don’t take a break from our lives then we won’t feel juvenated. We all need something to look forward to, and a tropical vacation in the winter is what I look forward to.

With children of my own I have learned that some children are very picky eaters and desire to eat unhealthy foods. Veggies and Fruits was written to encourage children to choose the healthier choice. The song presents fruits and vegetables in a fun and lighthearted manner that may appeal to little children who steer away from them.

What’s cooking represents the Christmas holiday and all the emotions that come with it. Christmas is a time of celebration, happiness and full of love. This song depicts the romance of Christmas along with the celebration that comes with it.
Wipe That Smirk Off
Sometimes when you are initially interested in a person you may be blinded to their flaws. This song is about a man in particular who I was attracted to so much that I was unable to think rationally for myself and realize he was not a good person. My friends were able to see the imperfections in our relationship that I was blind to. Eventually however I became aware of the person he really was and realized it was all a facade and I fell for it. This song represents me reminiscing on the past and realizing I should have seen all the red flags from the start.

This song “Write A Song” was for me to express what the feeling of music feels like. This song also gives encouragement to people who would like to make music, or just music in general. The expression I feel is amazing when I write songs, so I put my emotions for writing music into a song itself.

“Yay It’s Christmas” is a song based on the holiday Christmas. Christmas time is supposed to be a holiday of cheer and togetherness. Near Christmas I spend time with my family. We can’t wait for the gifts under the tree. I love spending time with my family near christmas time.

You’re not alone was written to inspire and motivate anyone who feels lost in the world and needs a helping nudge. This song is to motivate them to keep fighting and they don’t have to fight all their battles on their own, there is always someone whether they see it or not to stand by their side and fight alongside them.

Acceptance
I wrote Acceptance to explain how it is okay to not always be in control of your own life. It is hard to micromanage every little thing so sometimes it is necessary to go with the flow. While some things you have the ability to change, others are out of your reach and you need to accept that everything happens for a reason and not everything in life can be planned out. Life is uncontrollable and spontaneous; some things happen beyond our reach.
Alone
Sometimes in life you may be unsure where life is going to take you. I wrote Alone when I felt unsure if life was guiding me in the right direction and I wanted reassurance from people in my past to ensure I have grown as a person. I felt alone making my music and I desired for someone to appreciate me for who I am
Bad News
I wrote this song because people especially in the media and entertainment industries draw attention to the negatives rather than the positives. When watching movies and reading books people devour the drama. However for me personally it has become so suffocating being surrounded with negativity and Bad News wherever I look.
Before You Go Up
Before you can succeed in life you may face some rough patches and times where you aren’t improving. You have to wait your turn for success because if you work hard enough, it will come in time. Don’t give up because people around you are succeeding and you are still stuck in the same place.
Don’t Know
In life sometimes I don’t know what direction it is leading me in but I continue to just go with the flow. I may not know where I am going literally but also in regards to romantic relationships. I may not know how the relationship will end up but I just accept that and go wherever life takes me. Everything happens for a reason so just follow the path life has laid out for you and live with no regrets.
I Know
I Know is a love song admiring a particular person. Senses are heightened when around a person you have a yearning for and this song was written to draw attention to that. It has a romantic tone informing the significant other that the writer craves to be in their presence. New love also means conquering your past demons and moving on from them in order to move forward.

I wrote Let’s Get Going to emphasize the importance of not wasting a second. Life goes by in a heartbeat and it’s important to take advantage of the time you have and live with no regrets whether that is in general or with a romantic interest.

I wrote No but Yes about a romantic relationship I have had. I was denying my feelings and bottling them deep within. I denied our chemistry and lied to him and myself that I did not care about him and that I wanted to leave and walk away. However in actuality I realized although my lips were saying no, my heart was saying yes.
Serenity
Serenity is a song I wrote honoring the gifts God has given to us. God has given me and everyone else a path in life and granted us the abilities to follow this path he laid out for us. Some things in life cannot be changed so we have to place trust in God and be accepting if things do not work out in our favor.
Stay or Go
Stay or Go was written during a time when I was stuck in a confusing relationship where my partner wouldn’t reveal how they felt or what they wanted. Their words were meaningless as they told me they didn’t want to go but refrained from settling down. It left me in a storm of confusion.
Survivors
No one in the world has a picture perfect life. Everyone has their demons and problems they have to deal with. I wrote survivors to motivate people to persist through these hard times and survive. “We are survivors”. No matter who you are, you have the strength to get past anything life throws in your direction and persevere.
Where Eagles Fly
Where Eagles Fly is a motivational song to inspire the audience to rise above the darkness into the light. It is an uplifting song that motivates people to free themselves and loosen the chains of sadness and anything holding them back.
Yes but No
In my past relationships I have gotten hurt by the people I loved. Although I want to let this new person into my life and I care about them I can’t because I have put my guard up after being hurt in the past. Although my heart is saying yes to being with this new person, my head is deciding no and I am closing myself off in order to put myself first. I am not as trusting as I used to be as a way of protecting myself from heartbreak again.
Who What Where When How and Why
This is a song that tells a reporting story of when I used to report. Those were the questions I had to ask. I would practice my skills in reporting and be professional but have fun still doing so.
Upon the Mount Sinai Hill
I live in Mount Sinai, and across the street is a park. Mount Sinai has a hill at the park. That’s where I go and sit upon the hill when things get crazy. With one glance you can see it all. I get rid of all of my burdens and negativity. I can get rid of it all. Right upon the Mount Sinai hill. When I’m there I feel 10ft tall, and sing with thrill. Only on the Mount Sinai hill.
Unstoppable
I feel unstoppable with the man upstairs by my side. He gives me the strength I need to get by. I also can’t break because I’m unbreakable. When I stay positive in my thoughts, my worries all work out. That’s why I called the song ‘Unstoppable’.
Two Wrongs don’t make a Right
If you’re upset about something, sometimes it’s better to let it go even if you feel you are right. Instead of needing to boast or put on a show, It’s always better to let it go. In life we can’t always go tit for tat. There’s going to be times when you’re giving too much in a relationship or you take too much in a relationship, and that’s okay. That’s what love is. We need to remember why we fell in love in the first place. Love is give and take. Remember those good times, and smooth out or pace.
Turn the Damn Car Around
I wish we didn’t have to leave this trip. It was the best vacation ever. I want to be lost in the woods. Let’s turn the damn car around, because I don’t want to be found. We had so much fun here laughing with our friends,telling old stories, and of course drinking booze again. I love hearing the music playing, the fire burning bright, I love to celebrate laughing into the night. The best thing is the kids are laughing while playing baseball, soccer, hiking, and softball. Nobody cares what time it is. I want to go back. Let’s turn the damn car around.

I hate To Do Lists. My list grew and grew, and I can’t do your list too! So put it on your own list. I hate to do chores.Mop the floors, and clean the doors. It never ends! Let’s just do our basic needs. Forget these to do lists.
The Lake Song
I throw a rock and watch the ripples go. That’s how sometimes my emotions feel. Something can bother me one night, then it disappears but then it sweeps back in the morning again. Then the circle starts all over again. Sometimes love does that to us. Right now I feel alright. But when that feeling comes, I have to hold on tight. If I’m very sad, I can rest that night. In the morning I feel a lot better. Sometimes emotions just come and go and i have to learn to be ok with that.

Stronger As I Go
We’ve all been through a lot in life. We win a little, we lose a little. I’ve been through a lot of panic, and the man upstairs would know. I’m getting bigger, better, and stronger as I go. I’m proud of myself for all I’ve been through, looking back now. The man upstairs really has been there for me, and with that I’ve been so grateful.
Second Chances
Everyone deserves a second chance. I feel you tell who needs one with just one glance. You can see it in their eyes. If they’re sad, or feel lost. People can hide it really well, but it’s okay because everyone deserves a second chance. Sometimes you can see who has given up, and sometimes you get to a point where you need to forgive and move on.
School Supplies
School Supplies is a funny song. It makes fun of how the schools make the students get so many school supplies over the years. And how back in the day it was so simple. They need so many supplies to teach the same thing. I joke about how we can compromise and make life easy again. I search and search and half of the things they need I can’t find. I remember all you needed was a note-pad and a pen and a pencil.

I feel like I’m running away from myself. It’s hard to shake this feeling inside. Like there’s no place left to hide. I feel like I keep tripping over my feet, and the pain never subsides. I had a dream where I kept running and running and I know I can’t go back but the pain never leaves. I just keep running away.

Rock Paper Scissors used to be a game that I loved as a kid. In the summers we would all play it and it would pass the time away. It was easy to do because it only took 2 kids to play. Even mom didn’t have a say. Looking back we were fun, loving, and carefree. It reminds me now of how we used to be. Let that be a lesson to be.
Road Less Traveled
Everyone took the road that was easiest and best and that would bring the most success. I took the hardest winding road. If I make it out alive, it was the best. They came in the front door with their shined shoes, while I came in the back door filthy and bruised. They came in all polished and always on time, while I came up crazy from behind. I wish I could talk to my younger self. And tell me all I’d be dealt. Maybe it would be better to know where my life would go. I took the road less traveled and that’s what’s made the difference.

This is a meditation/song where we can all come in contact with our five senses. In this way, we’re able to regulate the body, to keep calm and function well.
First Things First
I usually have so many things on my to do list. So it’s very hard for me to stay focused. I wrote this song to remind myself to not keep jumping around. To not jump around, and to keep things in order. Starting with First thing First. I was making fun of myself for constantly jumping around but I need to stay in order to get things done correctly.
Don’t Walk in Front of Me
This was my favorite saying that I have ever heard. It really hit home to me when I heard it. Don’t walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me ,I may not lead. Just walk beside me, and be my friend. I really love that because I don’t want a friend to feel better than me or less than me. I want a friend just to be my friend and walk beside me. Especially not wanting anything from me, or reverse. Just walk beside me and enjoy who I truly am, and love me for me.
Camping
My family and I went camping. Everyone in these cottages saw the run down walls, and every crawling creature that falls. I saw old rustic paint that matched the trees and laughed as I cleaned. It was so nice just hanging out and not having anywhere to go or to do. We could kayak or swim, or go hiking. There was no homework or anything we had to get done. It was just so much fun. Can’t wait till next year.

You are allowed to have a bad day sometimes but do not let it get you down. Better days are coming. Try to think happy thoughts and crate positive goals for your future. It;s not good to stay alone too much. Try to get out of the house and go dancing.

Be true to yourself as long as you do not hurt anyone. Everyone has their strong points and we need to develop them in a positive way. Everyone is different and has different needs and goals. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. Everyone has to find their own way.
Christmas Bells
It’s Christmas Eve and the children are singing at midnight mass. We all are wearing the ugly sweaters like everyone else. We are all excited for Christmas Day. The snow isn’t here yet but the kids are hoping it’s on it’s way.

The elves have made toys all year. They are beautifully wrapped. The children will be happy singing songs together on Christmas eve. The kids are singing songs together counting down the hours until Christmas Day.

Dance Away
It’s snowing and the music is pumping and we want to dance the night away. We dance so well together, I don’t care what people say. We’re jazzing up the music, twisting here and there. I’m not going to stop dancing until I am ready to stop.

We are singing the Doo Wop song. We’re ready for the hot chocolate all night long. This will keep us warm, and it’s time to listen to oldie songs at christmas time. This reminds me of my Dad. We used to listen to this music together. How I miss him. I know I will see him in Heaven one day but until then I’m going to keep on dancing.
Driving
I’m driving the kids all over the place. I’m driving here and I’m driving there. I’m driving up and driving down. I’m driving west and I’m driving east. You got me driving in circles. I’ll get you late if you’re buzzed or sober but if not too bad, go get yourself an uber.

I’m stuck in a blizzard, on Christmas eve. I can’t get out of the house. Hey Santa, you think you can give me a ride on your sleigh to grandmas? I’ll be real quiet and good. This year I was just misunderstood.
God Is Here
God is here for everyone. We need to pray and ask him for help. He will always answer us somehow, usually in a positive way. God is here to lead us. Just close your eyes, stay quiet and listen to that small small voice inside you. If it doesn’t come right away, no need to be worried, close your eyes, open your bible to any page, point to anywhere on the page, open your eyes and read the bible a bit. It’s God’s magic because it will come to you soon.

Leaves
It’s autumn and leaves are falling one by one. They have such beautiful colors. It is a wonderful time of year. The colors are yellow, orange and red. We dance as we watch them spread. We should be surrounded by nature as much as we can to take in that beautiful smell and all the pretty surroundings around all of us.
Making Our Cake
It’s fun to make our brownie cake and it’s a wonderful recipe. We all take a turn mixing the batter, and measure the things exactly as we are told. Then we take turns mixing and we take turns licking the bowl. That’s the funnest part. The kids enjoy this more than anything, then later we oil the pan. And pour the cake mix. And when it’s done, we let it cool and bring it in for everyone in school.
Middle of nowhere
I know which way to go, going to a friend out east. I will bring my baby back to me for Christmas. I’m driving in the middle of nowhere, and getting as lost as I go deeper and deeper. But I don’t care as I’m finding my baby and bringing him back to me

God is with me all the time. He guides me through my life. I even let him guide me through writing my songs. He makes my crooked path straight. He knows what I’m going to write before writing it. He loves me and prepares me for every journey I must take. Oh God is with me.

When you’re old, who will be with you? When you’re stuck in your ways, when you’re old and gray, who will be with you in those days. In every so-called disaster in 5 years, it may not even matter. We make everything such a big deal, and in the end it doesn’t even matter. As I get older I realize you don’t always have to win. It’s okay to lose sometimes. You can’t win them all.
Port Jefferson
Port Jefferson is right near where I live. When I’m in Port Jefferson I feel like it’s my church. When I feel my worst, I go and sit by the water. With the sunshine on my face it’s my happiness. When I’m feeling blue, the seagulls come rescue you. So if you’re ever in this town, turn your sadness upside down and come to my little dock where the seagulls flock.

Unanswered Prayers

Wash Our Car
It’s a children’s song about how we should wash our car. By starting to get the hose and bucket and all the steps that it takes to wash a car. We start from the inside and then we work from the inside to the outside. Then we work from the top to bottom. Everyone is coming together and working hard to see how beautiful the car is in the end.

Coloring
When I was a kid I used to love colorin with my friends. As we would color we would recite the numbers. Such as one, two, three, four–we’re coloring on the floor five, six, seven, eight- we’re gonna draw so don’t be late. Then we sang ‘ I don’t care, let’s have fun tonight!’ Then at the end even the adults would join in ‘Fun, fun all we want is fun!’ It was a great way to rhyme and have fun together.
